How do I access LaunchDarkly Academy?
If you are a LaunchDarkly customer, you can use your existing LaunchDarkly login and password to access the Academy. If you are not yet a customer, you can sign up for a guest account. Visit the Academy and select Sign In to create your account.
If you are a partner, you can use your LaunchDarkly login and password to access the Academy if you have a LaunchDarkly account. Otherwise you can sign up for a guest account to get in. Note that your partner manager will need to place your account into a special group in order to view partner content.
How do I create a LaunchDarkly Academy account?
- To create an account, visit academy.launchdarkly.com, and select “Sign In.”
- Select “Sign Up” and enter your information.

Can I share a LaunchDarkly Academy account?
Since our training is free, and there’s no cost for our resources, we suggest that people sign up for their own accounts to ensure your learning history remains your own.
Do I need to provide payment info during signup?
No payment information is required. Basic self-guided courses and public virtual classes are free. We do offer private paid-engagements for your needs. For more information, please send a note to the support team and we’ll get in touch to discuss.
Can I make a trial LaunchDarkly Academy account?
You can signup for a free 14-day trial of LaunchDarkly at LaunchDarkly.com. Academy accounts are free, and you can sign up at anytime.
How much do courses cost?
Basic self-guided courses and public virtual classes are free. We do offer private paid-engagements for your needs. For more information, please send a note to the support team and we’ll get in touch to discuss.
How can I get a report of my progress?
When logged in to the Academy site, click your profile icon to see your learning history.
Can I link to my course completion on LinkedIn for my network to see?
After earning a LaunchDarkly certification, you will receive an email with an option to add the certification directly to your LinkedIn profile. If you want to share a course completion on LinkedIn, you can copy its URL and paste it into a LinkedIn post to share to your network.
Are there minimum system requirements to complete the training successfully (e.g., operating system, browser suggestions, etc.)?
For the optimal experience, we recommend you use a modern operating system and web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) with the latest updates installed.

Yes! Please contact your partner manager to get your account set up and to get access to partner content.

How often are courses updated?
Courses are reviewed and updated quarterly, and in some cases more frequently.
How can I get notified when new content is published on LaunchDarkly Academy?
New courses and certifications will be announced on the LaunchDarkly Twitter account.
What courses will be available in the future?
The Academy team is working on a road map of role-based courses and certifications with increasing complexity and spanning many LaunchDarkly use cases.
Do you have courses in languages other than English?
At this time, our Academy content is available in English only.
How long will I have access to the content after I complete a course?
You will have access to content as long as it is considered current. Newer courses will be published regularly, and older courses may be retired from time to time.
How long is my account active?
Accounts are kept active indefinitely.
Where can I learn about changes to the Academy and its offerings?
